Science. Technology. Engineering. Math

Clinch-Powell Educational Cooperative (CPEC) and Lincoln Memorial University (LMU) have partnered to co-host the sixth grade Science Fairs in Claiborne, Campbell, Scott, Hancock, Grainger and Union Counties. The winners from each school enter their projects into the bigger contest that is judged by LMU math and science students. Through this partnership, CPEC and LMU are promoting STEM activities and the importance of these activities in children's overall educational experience.

2024 Science Fair

Clinch-Powell Educational Cooperative and Lincoln Memorial University celebrated their 10th year in partnership hosting the 6th Grade Science Fair. This momentous anniversary delivered some of the best science projects ever presented in the history of the Science Fair. Judges, both at the school-level and final event, found it difficult to select the projects that best exemplified experimental design practices. Congratulations to all the participants and the top five overall winners!
