Who We Are

We have been serving children and families since 1971.
Clinch-Powell Educational Cooperative (CPEC) is a regional education service agency dedicated to comprehensive changes in the access to quality education in the Clinch-Powell service area. We were formed in 1971 to assist individual Boards of Education overcome obstacles due to limited resources. Currently, the Cooperative consists of six counties in the rural, mountainous area of upper East Tennessee including: Campbell, Claiborne, Grainger, Hancock, Scott and Untion Counties.

For over 45 years, CPEC has provided a variety of state and Federal programs supporting the children and families in our service area.
