  • Applications are now being accepted for Head Start Bus Monitor for Campbell, Claiborne, and Scott Counties. ​​​
Responsibilities include assisting the bus driver in the daily transportation of children to include teaching children safe riding practices. Applicants must have a high school diploma and experience working with children. The position is a five-days-per-week, four-hours-per-day position to include 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon.

  • The Clinch-Powell Educational Cooperative Head Start/Early Head Start Program is seeking to fill the position of Head Start Teacher for Claiborne County, TN.
The Teacher position requires an organized, responsible and reliable individual who enjoys working with preschoolers and is willing to work between the hours of 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Responsibilities include school readiness preparation for up to 17 preschoolers, timely completion of child assessments and program records, as well as relationship-building with families.
 Applicants must have a minimum of an Associate Degree in child development, early childhood education, or related field. Bachelor’s degree preferred. This position is a five-day per week, ten-month per year position. Benefits include health and dental insurance, Tennessee State Retirement, and paid vacation/sick leave. Salary will be based upon education and experience.

  • Applications are now being accepted for an Early Head Start Home Based Aide (Part-time) at the Child Development Center in Tazewell, TN.
Applicants must have a High School Diploma or GED and experience working with children.   The position will be two-days per week on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. til 2p.m.

  • The Clinch-Powell Educational Cooperative Head Start/Early Head Start Program is seeking to fill the position for Head Start Teacher Assistant for the Winfield Center located in Scott County, TN.  
Applicants must have a Child Development Associate Credential (CDA) or be willing to obtain one within 6-months of employment. An Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development is preferred. Applicants will be required to obtain a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). The position is a five-days per week, ten-months per year position. Benefits include health and dental insurance, life insurance, Tennessee State Retirement, and paid vacation/sick leave. Salary will be based upon education and experience.

  • The Clinch-Powell Educational Cooperative Head Start/Early Head Start Program is seeking to fill the position for Part-time Head Start Floater for Scott County, TN.
GED or High School Diploma required. Candidates should have experience with children and families, as well as working as part of a team. Applicant must be reliable and dependable, capable of working in various job capacities, and be willing to work at all CPEC Scott County locations.
