  • The Clinch-Powell Educational Cooperative Head Start/Early Head Start Program is seeking to hire substitutes for Campbell, Claiborne, and Scott Counties.

This position requires a responsible and reliable individual who enjoys working with children and is willing to work a flexible schedule from 8:00am – 3:00 pm. Applicants must have a minimum of a high school diploma or GED. Previous experience working with children desired.

  • Applications are now being accepted for a Meal-time Aide/Home-based Aide for our West Lafollette Head Start Center.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily breakfast and lunch times and assisting with the Home-based program one day per week. Applicants must have a high school diploma and experience working with children. The position is a five-days-per-week with the possibility of up to 30 hours a week.

Applicants must have a Child Development Associate Credential (CDA) or be willing to obtain one within 6-months of employment. An Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development is preferred. Applicants may be required to obtain a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). The position is a five-days per week, ten-months per year position. Benefits include health and dental insurance, life insurance, Tennessee State Retirement, and paid vacation/sick leave. Salary will be based upon education and experience.
