Safety is our number 1 priority at CPEC! As employees with CPEC Head Start/Early Head Start, one of our most important responsibilities is to ensure that our children are safe when they are in our care. Additionally, the Head Start Program Performance Standards require that all new employees receive a safety orientation training. Below are the training materials for each of the required areas. Begin by reviewing the agenda - your training will include a combination of informational resources, online training, videos, regulations and policies & procedures. All trainings have specified time frames and must be reviewed periodically by the Professional Development Manager. Print the confirmation page to keep track of your progress - it is your responsibility to complete all of the trainings within the specified time frames and to get approval signatures. When finished, the confirmation page must be given to the Professional Development Manager.
